Deep Stretch and Heated Stretch

If so, this class is appropriate for you! It offers a deep stretch allowing you to open fully and relax deeply. This class is appropriate for all levels.
This class targets the muscles that are sometimes tight from repetitive movement and overwork. Using a combination of static and loaded stretches, this class allows for maximum range of motion while stabilizing joints at the same time. At the Zona Rosa Location this class is heated to around 80 Degrees. City Market Location is regular temperature.
Ebb and Flow

If you answered yes to all of these questions, then both of these classes are for you.
Ebb and Flow is exquisitely sequenced to replicate the wavelike nature of the cyclical pattern of our days. There is equal time devoted to movement, deep stretch and relaxation.
Heated Yoga Flow
This is a fun-flowing intermediate level vinyasa class heated to 78°-85°. It explores more challenging poses with modifications given for different levels. Students are encouraged to explore and play with deepening their practice while focusing on integrated breath, movement, awareness, alignment, strength, and flexibility. Postures are perfectly sequenced to begin with the simplest poses flowing towards the more challenging, using modifications for different levels and injury prevention. Students should be comfortable developing the fundamentals of more advanced poses, such as inversions, backbends, and arm balances.
Definitely not for beginners.

This basics class is based on a series of postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama).
First, a set of standing poses strengthens the legs, then sit-ups are added between the remaining poses. The deeper muscles of the spine are activated through smaller backbends and forward folds.
The room is heated to promote a therapeutic environment and stimulate deep stretching. By the end of class you will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ and gland. Bringing you into a state of deep relaxation and ease, essentially... "melt your stress away."

Therapeutic Basic Yoga
Are you interested in starting yoga, but feel you need a bit of extra attention?
Do you have an autoimmune issue, but don't want to let that stop you from moving your body?
Do you struggle with low back, shoulder, neck or knee issues, but don't want that to stop you enjoying the things you love to do?
Do you want to practice yoga, but the time spent on hands and knees is becoming painful?
If the answer to any of the above questions is YES!, this is the class for you.
This class makes judicious use of the wall, balls, chairs, and other props to lengthen and strengthen muscles while stabilizing and supporting joints without overloading them. Don't hesitate to tell your teacher what you have going on with your body and she will arrange something for you to achieve your movement objectives.
Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga as well as to most other forms of physical exercise programs. This deep stretch class targets the deep connective tissues and fascia of the body. It focuses on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine). It is unique in that you are asked to relax in the posture.
Combine Yin Yoga for Stretching and Yang for Stability...
This class incorporates dynamic movement such as sun salutations coupled with deep stretching, a delightful blend of both practices.
Whether you are new to yoga or want a refresher, this class is for students who are interested in the fundamentals. The poses are sequenced to focus on the flow of energy in the body and how it relates to proper alignment. Each pose builds upon the other allowing you to connect with your body, mind and spirit. This class is appropriate for prenatal students.

Are you interested in learning and incorporating yoga practices to strengthen and stabilize your body at the same time opening and expanding your muscles and energy? If the answer is yes, then this is the class for you! Yoga Flow is a fun flowing intermediate level class which explores more challenging poses with modifications given for your different levels and injury prevention. You are encouraged to explore and play with deepening your practice while focusing on integrated breath, movement, awareness, alignment, strength, and flexibility. You should be comfortable and excited about developing the fundamentals of more advanced poses, such as inversions, backbends and arm balances.
Yoga in the Park
If you are new to yoga or looking for Sunday morning movement, this is your class! Appropriate for everyone as it includes basic movement and gentle stretches. Bring your own mat and join us. Gratuities for the teacher are not expected, but greatly appreciated! Bring your own mat! During the spring/summer this class is held in the City Market Park, just west of the City Market Square. Enjoy the great outdoors and then sample the City Market’s offerings!
