Class Descriptions

Deep Stretch

Deep Stretch is a Yin inspired class. It offers a deep stretch allowing  the student to open fully and relax deeply. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, muscles, and tendons of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. This class is appropriate for all levels.

Heated Yoga Flow

This is a fun-flowing intermediate level vinyasa class heated to 78°-85°. It explores more challenging poses with modifications given for different levels. Students are encouraged to explore and play with deepening their practice while focusing on integrated breath, movement, awareness, alignment, strength, and flexibility. Postures are perfectly sequenced to begin with the simplest poses flowing towards the more challenging, using modifications for different levels and injury prevention. Students should be comfortable developing the fundamentals of more advanced poses, such as inversions, backbends, and arm balances. Definitely not for beginners.

Hot 26

A series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises is done in the safe environment of a heated room which promotes deep stretching while reducing risk of injury. The postures create a complete workout, including cardio, without pounding the spinal column or other joints of the body. By the end of class you will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ and gland while systematically delivering oxygenated blood to 100% of your body.
